Executive Session
10:17 PM Selectmen took roll call vote in regular session and opened executive session. Nina explained that the treasurer-collector and the accountant were hourly employees, but that based on the nature of their positions, it would be more appropriate if they were salaried employees. This would avoid issues of overtime, and would allow both the employee and employer to benefit. She changed the employees to salary effective July 1st and is requesting the Board’s retroactive approval of this change. Richy made a motion to switch the referenced department heads to a salary payment system, Edith seconded and in roll call they voted with Jon, Edith and Richy each saying “aye.”
10:20 PM Selectmen closed the executive session with Richy making a motion to adjourn, Edith seconded and in roll call vote they adjourned with Jon, Edith and Stan each saying “aye.”
